Description

The Environmental Engineering program at Zewail City is looking for a full-time faculty member. The candidate should have solid background in Analytical Chemistry and Environmental laws & regulations, Hazards Mitigation to teach undergraduate and graduate courses such as: Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry Lab, Environmental Impact Assessment, Water Quality Measurements & Data Analysis. The candidate should have proven experience in establishing and supervising environmental analysis labs (including lab accreditation). The candidate should demonstrate an excellent research record in environmental engineering.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences (with majoring in analytical chemistry) or a closely related fields from highly-reputable university/institute
  • Demonstrated potential and commitment to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level with evidence of teaching effectiveness.
  • Excellent research record
  • Experience in engaging undergraduate and graduate students in research.
  • Solid background in environmental analysis lab establishing, operation and accreditation, as well as, quality control and quality assurance.
  • Solid Industrial experience
