  • Handling all service requests related to network performance, VOIP PBX, and network security according to the IT Department’s SLA
  • Perform extensive troubleshooting on the above mentioned services as well as providing clear and descriptive resolution for the users
  • Handle system generated networks management alerts that may include: LAN or WAN problems, VOIP PBX, network security, web application firewall, and VPN. Provide infrastructure support for peers’ applications such as student information systems
  • Responsible for documenting all actions taken or needed in incidents and service requests
  • Responsible for creating or updating documents in the internal know error database to ensure proper knowledge transfer across team members
  • Send swift and proper communication in case of critical incidents, to ensure all involved and affected parties are informed
  • Continuously participating in identifying technical improvements to decrease any administrative overhead
  • Continuously participating in improving the internal processes to increase the overall efficiency and decrease the response and resolution times
  • Working closely with the first line to ensure the agreed on processes are followed and discuss key areas of improvement through tailoring reports and providing easy to use work instructions
  • Participate actively in platform/application installation/design/upgrade plans and execution
  • Participate in the integration/consolidation of projects
  • Prepare reports, such as effort analysis, quality analysis, and utilization, on regular basis to ensure the best analysis for workloads according to service and engineer are performed; as well as track the teams’ position from the KPIs, service availability, SLAs compliance, and statistical analysis
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in either CISCO or HP Networks
  • Hands-on experience with CISCO or HP Switches
  • Hands-on experience with any VOIP PBX such as Cisco, Call manager or Nortel
  • Awareness of Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and CA
  • Working knowledge of server hardware (RAID, clustering, virtualization, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft System Center Family (SCOM). Strong troubleshooting skills on the above products
  • Experience in CCNA Routing and Switching and CCNP Routing and Switching
  • ITIL foundation background
  • CCNA in other areas is a plus
  • CCNP in other areas is a plus
  • CCSP is a plus
  • Administration awareness of Firewall (ASA or Palo Alto)
  • Awareness of web gateway
  • Web application firewall
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience in Gmail administration
  • Awareness of Web Gateway - Web Application Firewall -Microsoft Office 365 - Gmail
