About

Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering (Rice University, Texas USA, in 2010). Held different positions in industry and in academia. Currently serves as the Director of Continuous Improvement and Accreditation Unit (CIAU) in University of Science and Technology (UST) - Zewail City, where he coordinates the Continuous Improvement processes: coordinating the Learning Outcome assessment processes across all programs, leading the efforts for seeking and sustaining international accreditation, managing the Learning Technologies Services Office that provides customized software solutions used in the process, and managing the Teaching Effectiveness Office that works on developing the skills of the teaching faculty and assistants. Teaching, research, and development work is focused on software enegineering and electromagnetic sensing. Experienced in managing technical staff with focus on developing sensor systems (WSNs, Embedded Systems, and Internet of Things).
