Zewail City’s students Win the Hack the Climate Hackathon

A team of Zewail City students participated in the Hack the Climate hackathon, which was one of the three winning teams. Each team received a technical award in the form of services for a project to manufacture small-scale wind turbines. The hackathon was organized by the ECOSYS+ platform, co-funded by the European Union, which aims to enhance the innovation ecosystem in Egypt and raise its global presence. The team members included; Youssef Sharif, Omar Khattab, and Tasneem Al-Ahmadi from the Renewable Energy Engineering Program and Maryam Saadawi from the Communications and Information Engineering Program in Zewail City.
