The Environmental Engineering program at Zewail City is looking for an instructor with a solid background in aquatic environment and ecosystem to teach advanced undergraduate Aquatic Environment course, including: aquatic ecosystems structure and function, marine habitat, defense and adaptation, aquatic species and biology, micro-algae, zooplankton, microorganisms, benthic invertebrates and organisms' ecology, biotic and abiotic factors that affect the aquatic ecosystem, ecological problems, water pollution, remote sensing and modeling, and aquatic food web.


  • Ph.D. in Aquatic Ecosystem or a closely related field at the time of application.
  • Demonstrated potential and commitment to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level with evidence of teaching effectiveness.
  • Experience in engaging undergraduate and graduate students in research.
