Description |
The Physics of Earth and Universe program at Zewail City is looking for an astrophysicist with a solid background in physics and astrophysics to teach advanced undergraduate courses in astrophysics, including: Stellar Structure and Evolution, Compact Objects and High Energy Astrophysics, Galactic and Extragalactic Astronomy. Courses are taught in an analytical, calculus-based approach including solutions to differential equations in topics such as Hydrostatic equilibrium, equations of stellar structure, Lane-Emden equation and the polytope model, Saha equation, radiative processes in astrophysics, stars supported by quantum degeneracy pressure. |
