He was chosen among the 200 members to form the committee that will be representing and leading the Academy’s members through the upcoming year.

Dr. Elhadidy expressed his pleasure for being appointed to the committee and hopes that this will strengthen the liaison with other like-minded scientists to work towards alleviating the world’s most pressing problems and promoting the UN’s sustainable development goals.

He also added that “Being part of such prestigious association further promotes the involvement of young scientists in the dialogue between government authorities and educational institutions and to develop national and international science policies taking into consideration the needs, opportunities and perspectives of young researchers”

It’s noteworthy to mention that the GYA’s main objective is to empower young researchers to lead international, interdisciplinary, and inter-generational dialogue with the goal to make global decision making evidence-based and inclusive.
