Description 

The Environmental Engineering program at the University of Science and Technology - Zewail City of Science, Technology, and Innovation is looking for a full-time faculty member in Chemical Environmental Engineering track.

The candidates should have a solid background in chemical engineering to teach many undergraduate and graduate courses such as:

  • Phase equilibria for engineers
  • Process analysis and simulation
  • Heat transfer
  • Mass transfer and separations processes
  • Air quality and pollution control
  • Bioprocess engineering

The candidates should demonstrate an excellent research record in chemical environmental engineering.

Qualifications
  • Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related fields from highly reputable university, at the time of application.
  • Demonstrated potential and commitment to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.
  • Prior teaching experience at the university level with evidence of teaching effectiveness.
  • Experience in engaging undergraduate and graduate students in research.
  • Significant record of publications in refereed journals, as well as a solid record in research.
  • Solid Industrial experience.
