Description

Zewail City of Science and technology is looking to hire Grants & Research officer at the entry level or senior level (commensurate with experience and qualifications). The successful candidate will work with the research office team to handle several tasks including:

  • Dissemination of targeted funding opportunities.
  • Keeping updated records and databases of research publications.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge and understanding of research funding agency programs, policies and submissions process.
  • Advice on, and assist with, the development and submission of research grants applications.
  • Manage and assist in the preparation of institutional grant applications and reporting.
  • Assist in editing proposals with call-specific requirements before submission to external funding agencies.
  • Locate and disseminate relevant research funding opportunities to Zewail City researchers.
  • Ensure that research applications comply with internal regulations as well as those of the funding agency, and liaise with the Finance department to confirm that financial requirements are met.
  • Prepare annual reports on research and funding progress for various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and edit updated research news and highlights.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree is the minimal requirement, higher qualifications, especially with research experience or relevant previous work experience, is highly desirable.
