Within the framework of the role played by the Ministry of Environment in protecting the Egyptian environment, reducing pollution rates, and raising public awareness of environmental aspects, by “increasing the trend towards green economic development that is less dependent on carbon and supporting integrated environmental management systems to provide a healthy environment for citizens and activate the sustainable development policy Inclusion of the environmental dimension in development projects, expansion of support for small and medium-sized projects in the field of environment, addressing the harmful effects of climate change in coordination with the concerned authorities, and preserving natural resources through infrastructure development, development of natural reserves, preservation of marine and wild resources, and upgrading the environmental behaviors of the community. For his part, Dr. Mustafa Badawi, Director of the Valley of Science and Technology in Zewail City, expressed the city's role in benefiting from the activities of professors and students in the field of environmental engineering in order to prepare an environmental awareness program for all students.
