University of Science and Technology signs MoU with University of Bahrain

The University of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Bahrain to build bridges of academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Sherif Sedky, founding provost of the University of Science and Technology, and Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, president of the University of Bahrain.

The two universities will work together to promote joint academic and research cooperation by exchanging visits of professors and researchers, in addition to organizing joint conferences and forums.

A delegation from the University of Science and Technology visited the University of Bahrain at the invitation of the latter. Dr. Janahi believes that this visit is a step towards initiating pioneering scientific collaborations with the University

of Science and Technology, which he said was one of the finest universities in the contemporary scientific fields. Janahi is looking forward to implementing the MoU and initiating academic collaboration between both sides in the fields of medical sciences, nanotechnology and engineering.

Dr. Sedky gave a presentation about the university’s constituents, its structure and students who are from all over Egypt. Dr. Sedky said he was eager to start the cooperation with the University of Bahrain in scientific research projects and to begin the process of exchanging professors as well as students.
