Zewail City research assistants win BioKMT Scholars Fund 2014


Two research assistants at the Center for Aging and Associated Diseases (CAAD) won the 2014 BioKMT Scholars Fund (BSF) granted by BioKMT Society. Eman El-Wakeel's research titled Role of Mitochondrial Respiration in Lineage Fate Determination of Mesenchymal Stem Cells ranked first, while Mohammed Hammdi's research proposal titled Role of Reactive Oxygen Species in Memory Formation came in second place. 

BioKMT Society is a nongovernmental organization interested in developing scientific research in the biosciences field in Egypt.
